James Cook’s Voyages to New Zealand
James Cook came to New Zealand three times. You can now journey with him on two of these voyages – the first and second.
His first trip 1769-1770 was a voyage of discovery.
His second trip 1772 – 1775 was the most significant trip for discovering New Zealand’s bird and plant life.
As you journey around you can learn about James Cook. You can also answer questions to earn stars. These journeys teach you about Geography and Environmental Science. These are two of the subjects we teach at the School of Environment at The University of Auckland.
We hope you enjoy your journeys.
